Mothers Against Violence
The dedicated and inspirational Patsy McKie founded the Mothers Against Violence campaign group after losing her son back in 1999. Since then, Patsy has travelled the UK and made it her life-long mission to campaign against violence and offer comfort and support for parents who have experienced loss.
Over the years, the UK has seen a sharp rise in violence amongst our young people, and with each unfortunate incident, we are reminded there is still more work to be done. Bristol has seen its fair share of devastation due to the escalating violence amongst our young men.
Elaine Campbell will also intimately share with us thoughts on “What mothers can do to keep their children safe.”

If you are a parent, carer, or community member who would like to see positive change and share solutions and ideas about how we can come together to save our youths, we would love for you to attend this sacred and respectable space. Here we will support each other because, as a parent or carer you are not alone.
A Opportunity to Voice Your Concerns
The Let’s Talk parents and carers group and the team at Full Circle @ Docklands are passionate about creating a space for parents and carers to voice their concerns. As a collective, we are stronger and can make positive change happen.
We meet on the last Monday of each month from 6 to 8pm. We also have a Let’s Talk WhatsApp group. Keep in the loop of enrichment opportunities for you and your family.
Let’s Talk is particularly keen to hear the voices of fathers and male carers. Please share as widely as possible with any parents & carers you feel will be interested.
