The G.O.L.D Project

The G.O.L.D Project is a unique programme TCV deliver within Bristol and one that is growing in popularity amongst the age group (specifically 16-19). It provides opportunities for the young person to gain a qualification in environmental studies as their vocation, improve on Functional Skills, receive careers guidance combined with employability skills, attain work experience and if all goes well, end their course to progress into employment or an apprenticeship.

Who is social housing for? – proposed changes to Bristol’s Housing Allocation Scheme

There are currently more than 14,000 applicants on the Bristol Housing Register. Bristol City Council is currently reviewing how they and partner landlords allocate social housing in Bristol through its Social Housing Allocation Policy. The review takes into account new freedoms in the Localism Act 2011, the housing stock and the changing demands on it. With these new powers in mind we are proposing to make some changes to the rules that govern who can and cannot join the housing register and the prioritisation of applicants within the register.

New Youth Project starts at Docklands

Full Circle is pleased to announce we will be starting a new youth project which will run weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 9pm for ages 13 – 19 year olds.

This has come about in response to a consultation with young people locally who told us they wanted a youth club aimed at teenagers. We plan to offer football, basketball, computer games and a space to socialise. Eventually we will be looking to offer media projects including photography, video-making, music production and performance.

On Wednesday 6th November we will be having a launch party with free food and dj’s so if you are a teenager come on down and enjoy yourself!

If you are interested in volunteering at this project or any of our other projects or have further queries, please contact or phone us on 0117 9077164
