The Seven Saints of St. Pauls Heritage Mural Initiative

In honour of the Bristol West Indian Parents and Friends Association

The St Pauls Carnival is one of the longuest established Caribbean style Carnivals in the United Kingdom and 2018 will mark its 50th Anniversary.
In June 2015, Iconic Black Bristolians in partnership with 121 Creatives will be launching the first of our Summer Artival Exhibitions and will introduce The Seven Saints of St. Pauls, who are the seven founders of the St. Pauls Festival.

The free exhibition, running from the 29th of June to the 4th of July, will include illustrated portraits with accompanying biographies and will be the launch of The Seven Saints of St Pauls Heritage Mural Initiative.

The Seven Saints of St. Pauls Heritage Mural Initiative is a two-year project, which will see the erection of seven murals painted in the St. Pauls area of Bristol to celebrate the achievements of some of our key members of the African Caribbean diaspora in Bristol; The seven saints of St. Pauls.
