Basketball Tournament Champions

Full Circe under 14s impressive win in first Basketball Tournament
The u14s Full Circle Team showed great maturity, raw talent and impressive team work to come out victorious in their first competitive game.

In the first game against Bristol Flyers the team took a while to get going and were down by 6 points before they scored their first basket. After the first half the team began to settle and the score started to go up. They came out victorious by 38 – 22.

By the second game they were really warmed up and played better as a team working harder at defending and scoring. In all my 8 years of playing and coaching basketball this was the most entertaining match that I have seen a group of Young Men play. Swindon Sharks (a girls team) had tall players and to their credit they passed the ball around very – well. In the whole game as a team the Young Men missed 8 shots – very impressive! All the little mistakes from the first game was ironed out and a great performance was secured with the final score being 58 – 9.

Game – 3 The Final.
In this game the Young Men played a team from Gloucester. They won by showing good defence and great determination. It was hard for their opponents who kept Full Circle on their toes, final score 25-10.

Thanks to our coaches Donovan,Jalo and volunteers Nathainiel and Rafael. Funders and supporters Neil Maggs -Street Games and Steve Brock – Bristol Storm.
